Entry Forms Must Be Received By September 1st! 

Here are the details…

• Contest is FREE of charge and open to anyone (individuals, families, groups, businesses).
• Participants must set up their entries at the designated Scarecrow area Sept 8, between 5 & 8 pm, or Sept 9 between 6 & 8 am.
• There are 2 categories:
  • Traditional – This category should keep crows away from the corn crop.
  • Thematic  –  This year’s theme is Steam Punk
• Participants will be assigned a spot and provided a 5-ft post for display, but must supply their own means to secure the scarecrow to the post. Total display size must not exceed 6 ft high and 3 feet wide. Additional props such as corn stalks, bales of hay, etc. Farm & Family Festival are not responsible for damage to scarecrow or props.
• Participants may include a sign with their display, indicating the name of the group, family, or business, if desired; signs may not exceed 11×17 inches. No handouts or free giveaways may be associated with entries.
• Winners will be determined by votes placed at the festival by visitors. Voting will take place 9/9/23. Winners will be announced on Friday, 9/15/23 .
• All entries must be removed by 9/9/23 between 3pm and 7pm. Items remaining after that time will become property of the Farm & Family Festival and will be disposed of.
• This is a family-friendly event. No gruesome horrific or inappropriate entries will be permitted. No Soliciting.
• Denair Farm & Family Festival reserves the right to refuse or remove any entry deemed offensive or inappropriate.
